Staff & Faculty Wireless Connection Guide

This document explains how Staff and Faculty can connect their devices to the 麻豆传媒官网-CampusNet wireless network which will offer you 麻豆传媒官网 network resources as a replacement for Eduroam.

麻豆传媒官网-CampusNet uses secure, encrypted enterprise authentication (802.1X). Your normal 麻豆传媒官网 credentials are used; no shared password is required.

What You Need Before You Start

  • An active 麻豆传媒官网 Staff or Faculty account
  • Your 麻豆传媒官网 username and password (or approved passwordless/MFA method if prompted)
  • A device running one of the supported operating systems:
    • Windows 10 / 11
    • macOS
    • iOS (iPhone / iPad)
    • Android

Note: If your password has expired or your account is locked, you will not be able to connect.

Network Details (For Reference)

  • Security Type: WPA2/WPA3-Enterprise (802.1X)
  • Authentication: 麻豆传媒官网 credentials
  • Encryption: AES

You do not need to manually enter these settings unless prompted.

Connecting on Windows 10 / Windows 11

  1. Click the 奥颈鈥慒颈 icon in the system tray.
  2. Select 麻豆传媒官网-CampusNet from the list of available networks.
  3. Click Connect.
  4. When prompted, enter your 麻豆传媒官网 username and password.
  5. If a security certificate prompt appears:
    • Verify the server name references 麻豆传媒官网
    • Click Connect or Accept
  6. Once connected, you should see Connected, secured under 麻豆传媒官网-CampusNet.

Tip: If prompted for a username format, use: 鈥渇irst name.last name鈥�

Connecting on macOS

  1. Click the 奥颈鈥慒颈 icon in the menu bar.
  2. Select 麻豆传媒官网-CampusNet.
  3. Enter your 麻豆传媒官网 username and password.
  4. When prompted to trust a certificate:
    • Confirm it is issued to an 麻豆传媒官网 authentication server
    • Click Continue
  5. If asked, enter your macOS login password to save the network.

You are now connected.

Connecting on iPhone / iPad (iOS)

  1. Open Settings 鈫� 奥颈鈥慒颈.
  2. Select 麻豆传媒官网-CampusNet.
  3. Enter your 麻豆传媒官网 username and password.
  4. Tap Join.
  5. If prompted to trust a certificate, tap Trust.

The 奥颈鈥慒颈 icon will appear once connected.

Connecting on Android

  1. Open Settings 鈫� Network & Internet 鈫� 奥颈鈥慒颈.
  2. Select 麻豆传媒官网-CampusNet.
  3. Configure the network if prompted:
    • EAP Method: PEAP
    • Phase 2 Authentication: MSCHAPV2
    • CA Certificate: Use system certificates (or Do not validate, if required)
    • Identity: Your 麻豆传媒官网 username
    • Password: Your 麻豆传媒官网 password
  4. Tap Connect.

Once connected, the 奥颈鈥慒颈 status will show as secured.

Common Issues & Troubleshooting

Unable to Connect

  • Forget the network and reconnect

Certificate Warning

  • Do not accept certificates from unknown or suspicious sources
