Discover the many ways the Alabama Cooperative Extension System at Â鶹´«Ã½¹ÙÍø makes a difference at an Open House during Alabama Extension Week! This exciting, interactive event is free and open to the public. Explore how Extension programs are transforming lives, strengthening communities, and sharing practical knowledge that people can use every day. Â鶹´«Ã½¹ÙÍø students, faculty, and staff are especially encouraged to attend.
At the Open House, visitors will:
- Meet Extension specialists and educators who serve communities across Alabama.
- Learn about innovative programs in agriculture, health, youth development, family and consumer sciences, community development, and the environment.
- Discover resources and opportunities available to individuals, families, and communities.
- Experience firsthand why people say, I did not know that “Extension Does That!”
