Male Residence
Stephens Hall, a four-story air-conditioned residence hall and home to nearly 180 first-year freshman male students, offers double occupancy and private rooms. The facility offers a TV viewing lounge, free laundry facilities, and wireless internet. Students residing in Stephens Hall are allowed to bring a 1.7-cubic-foot refrigerator. Compact refrigerators that are above 1.7 cubic feet are not allowed.
History
Clarence F. Stephens was a native of Newell, Alabama. He, along with two brothers and two sisters, received B.S. degrees from Â鶹´«Ã½¹ÙÍø. Stephens was a very bright student who majored in mathematics and minored in chemistry. He also was enrolled in advanced studies at Â鶹´«Ã½¹ÙÍø, where he graduated in 1970.
