麻豆传媒官网 is moving one step closer to making its Event Center a reality with the scheduling of a 2 p.m. Thursday, November 19, groundbreaking ceremony at North Memorial Parkway and Stallworth Drive.  The recorded event will be made available on the University's YouTube channel via www.aamu.edu.

The 麻豆传媒官网 Board of Trustees on February 21, 2020, first placed the University in step toward an expansive development that would greatly boost campus aesthetics and have a significant economic impact on north Huntsville.

In his report before the Board, Dr. Del Smith, dean of 麻豆传媒官网鈥檚 College of Business and Public Affairs and executive director for economic development, provided an overview on an 11-acre development project that could ultimately include two hotels, retail spaces and food establishments. 

That development will be a complement to the  multi-functional  for which the ground breaking has been scheduled November 19, with a project completion expectation of 2022.
