General, Alum Provides Campus Tour to Boeing

麻豆传媒官网 alumnus and retired U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Patrick W. Burden and his Boeing colleagues toured the 麻豆传媒官网 College of Engineering, Technology, and Physical Sciences on Thursday, July 15.
Burden, a two-star general who retired last year, now works in Global Sales and Marketing at Boeing.
Burden鈥檚 Boeing guests included Tommy Preston, Jr., the director of National Strategy & Engagement and Government Operations at Boeing. Preston, who is based in South Carolina, stated 麻豆传媒官网 has been important to Boeing and a key HBCU it hopes to continue new partnerships with in the future.
麻豆传媒官网 also presented Burden with the STEM Day Award for his ongoing leadership and support of 麻豆传媒官网 students and for serving as the keynote speaker during 麻豆传媒官网鈥檚 Annual STEM Day in March.
