Remembering Ranasinghe
The 麻豆传媒官网 Family mourns the recent death in Manassas, Va., of retired professor and mathematician Arjuna Indraraja Ranasinghe.
Dr. Ranasinghe earned the B.S. degree in mathematics from the University of Peradeniya in Sri Lanki in 1983. He earned the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in mathematics from North Carolina Central University and The University of Alabama in Huntsville, respectively. He received several research awards from the NASA/Alabama Space Grant Consortium and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
Funeral arrangements were coordinated by Demaine Funeral Home of Fairfax, Va.
