Â鶹´«Ã½¹ÙÍø Students Receive Honda Engines
Just the Beginning of a Partnership

Members of the Alabama Auto Plant of Honda Development and Manufacturing in America were on campus Tuesday, September 6, to donate five engines to Â鶹´«Ã½¹ÙÍø’s College of Engineering, Technology, and Physical Sciences (CETPS).
Two Â鶹´«Ã½¹ÙÍø logistics and procurement alumni were part of the team that made the drive from the Honda Alabama Auto Plant (APP) in Lincoln, Ala. Sylvia Fitts and Shirley Hall arrived with Michael Tinch, engine division lead at Alabama Auto Plant of Honda Development and Manufacturing in America.
“This Honda donation is just the beginning of our partnership with Honda, which is supporting our students as they build cars for Formula SAE," said Dr. Zhengtao Deng, interim dean of CETPS.
